Honest Beauty, Juice Beauty, Alima Pure, Colorevolution. What do all these names have in common? They are some of many companies that are taking over the all natural cosmetic market. We're beginning to see a shift in awareness of the quality ingredients that we put both inside our bodies and outside. What we apply on the outside matters just as much as what we put on the inside. After all, your skin is your largest organ. Does that make you want to reevaluate the kinds of products you're putting on your body? It sure did for me.
A lot of big name celebrities and self-made entrepreneurs, such as Jessica Alba and Gwenyth Paltrow, are passionately devoted to making a difference in the ways we see and use cosmetic products. It is important to support healthy and ethical practices - for the betterment of the human race, as well as our planet. As a result, more beauty companies around the world are stepping up their game.
For instance, Colorevolution.
No parabens, no preservatives, no chemical dyes. Colorevolution products are also cruelty-free and never tested on animals. Additionally, they're made in the USA, which is great! The team at Colorevolution is devised of industry experts, chemists, and make-up artists who all work together to ensure the production of quality products with great application and vibrant colors - and it's 100% safe.
Here, I'm demonstrating how Colorevolution enhances my make-up routine by showing you my personal before and after shots. It was - admittedly - very scary to take a photo sans make-up (not to mention, share it with you). But I think it's amazing to see the transformation with JUST Colorevolution products. I used one light foundation powder (called Sand Dune), one darker foundation as a bronzer (called Toffee), one blush (Cocoa), two colors of shimmer eye shadow powder (Barely There & Khaki), and Colorevolution's Mineral Volumizing Mascara (in Very Black - my favorite hands down).
For the record, I did not combine this look with any additional make-up from other brands like I would normally do (promise). And I chose not to apply anything on my lips or eyebrows. These photos have not been retouched, as I wanted to make sure that they accurately demonstrated the transformation. I'm so glad I did this. You really can't go wrong with switching to all natural beauty products, especially going for a brand like Colorevolution, because their products alone do just as well (if not better) than mainstream beauty products. I challenge you to go "all natural" and give natural cosmetics a try!
