Florals & Neutrals: My Outfit Inspiration For Summer Nights
Oh summer nights. I could sing Grease's Summer Lovin' for days. All these good vibes deserve some attention. For most of us, when we think of summer, we think beach trips, road trips, lots of daytime activities. Those are all amazing. But summer nights have so much potential too. With that in mind, I think it's a great idea to consider your outfit coordination for your fun and fabulous summer evenings.
How fun are the pointy toe heels!? Notice the snakeskin details? I got so excited when I stumbled upon this fun pair from Vince Camuto because it compliments the leather scale cut details on my Dawn cut-out clutch from Grip Handbags. Even though the colors don't match exactly, since the textures are similar, it works. Not to mention, the color tones all tie in with the rest of the look. My jeans are Flying Monkey (obsessed), my top is Vince Camuto (picked it up for $25 at Marshall’s!), and my leather jacket is Michael Kors - a classic staple great for the mid-way transition from summer into fall.
Check out the jewelry pieces my stylist picked out for me. My dainty triangle necklace is from Moon & Lola, and the gold geometric bangle is from House of Harlow 1960. My ring is from my all time favorite jewelry brand, Joomi Lim. Styling this outfit was like a breath of fresh air. I felt totally myself. And I have to admit, it was nice dressing up a little. Usually all summer, I'm dressed in bathing suits and /or lounge wear. This look pushed me to look a little more presentable, haha. But everything about this ensemble is me in a nutshell - comfortable and coordinated. This is usually what I like to throw on when meet friends for dinner or go out into the city. I hope this look inspires you. It's all about putting some extra thought into the details. When all the little details come together, the look appears effortless.
